Summary/Abstract: The teaching / learning of French as a foreign language in Algeria is a vast and complex field of research. The changes in our educational system resulting from the emergence of the Competency-based Approach have encouraged us to review educational practices, by varying working arrangements and learning activities, by bringing together different skills and different mediums from an angle purely creative. A reflection on reading, oral and written as skills to prepare a learner to be autonomous is needed.
