Summary/Abstract: The aim of my study is to analyze factors influencing unemployment spells and exit destinations of higher educated people from Romania and Hungary. The empirical analysis is based on two datasets offered by National Agency of Employment Romania and Institute of Economics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. For both countries, the impact of different covariates on the duration of unemployment spells and exit destinations is analyzed.
