Summary/Abstract: This essay is concerned about new possibilities of teaching Bible stories for chil-dren. It focuses on the psychology of the fairy tales and the latest research in under-standing “how the stories work”. The first part of this paper deals with child development, the second part with the story “in work”, and it shows the deep and important effects stories can have on a child’s developing soul.
