Multicultural Education through Sport and Physical Education

Summary/Abstract: The articel is focused on application of sport and physical education in multicultural education. The aim of the study is to introduce this problematic and indicate opportunities for inovation and development of this topic. We mention some important theories and approaches. We also refer to the present situation in the Czech Republic and results of research. Sport can help integrate people, support their cooperation and communication, which is crucial. The teachers‘ role in multicultural education is not easy, it requires much experience and education.
