Summary/Abstract: The Presbiteros Kozmas Treatise against the heretics contains direct indications of Athanasius' Vita of St. Anthonius and the author points the evidence to the connection with the Slavonic translation of the Vita. The direct use of Athanasius' Orationes against the arians can not be demonstrated with the help of precise quotations, but an indirectly mediated knowledge in the developed dogmatic position of the Athanasius seems quite probable, above all the use of the same quotation of the Bible as proof of a thesis. Atanasius' influence is present in the exposition of the orthodox notion of the nature of the Son of God and the understanding of the categories of image, icon and similarity. Kozma uses the Konstantin of Preslavs phraseology.
