Accidents of Children and Adolescents – Adults’ Responsibility for Safety

Summary/Abstract: The article presents selected statistical data on accidents among children and adolescents in order to highlight the problem of safety deficiencies in their environment. The main aim of the text is to outline the opportunities to raise awareness and responsibility for the safety of young generation. It furthermore shows the necessity to undertake educational and interdisciplinary actions within this area. What is more, the realization and monitoring of tasks resulting from legal provisions is also indicated as important.
