Environmental Law and Land Law from the Perspective of the Past (Fifty) Years… and in Terms of Future Prospects

Summary/Abstract: The paper is devoted to the development of Land Law and Environmental Law at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University (formerly the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně), in the field of education and of the key aspects of the scientific research mentioning their importance for social practice. Attention is focused to their mutual relations and their role in the Master’s degree programme „Law and Legal Science“ from the future perspective as well. The paper mentions the representatives of these legal fields and their contribution to their development. The whole treatise is influenced by the fact that it is the view of a person who has been engaged in these fields of law for almost 40 years.
