Summary/Abstract: The author of the article deals with Kant’s aesthetics, especially with his „Analytic of the Sublime“ from The Critique of Judgment, thus making a connection with his previous „Looking back at Kant“, originally published in 1969. Kant’s analytic of the sublime is contextualized through the philosophical thinking of Jean-François Lyotard, Paul Ricoeur and Jan Patočka.
