Summary/Abstract: The focus of the study is an analysis of the interpretative method of Zdeněk Kožmín, which is demonstrated on the example of Karel Hynek Mácha’s work. Kožmín’s explanation encompasses selected Mácha’s sonnets and other poetic texts. Methodologically, Kožmín follows Jacques Geninasca’s sonnet interpretations and other structuralist analyses.
