Summary/Abstract: In the article the attention is dedicated to the behavior’s mechanisms of the hypochondriac personality’s disorders and their main principles of psychodiagnostic research. The list of symptomatic peculiarities of the disorder in the conditions of diverse similarities and differences of individual and common indexes of psychodiagnostic principles was analyzed. Literature and general scientific methods of studying diversified sources were used. It helped us to renew real facts concerning the problem under the research taking into account scientific work of the Ukrainian scientists. The instability of economic, political and social terms is accompanying the dysfunction of mental formations and maladies of a person’s mentality. In the process of overcoming life difficulties in each age period, a person can either get some new experience, widen the range of behavioral abilities or show behaviour inadequacy which can influence its adaptive capability. Therefore, the raise of interest of researchers to the problem of overcoming difficult life situations, obsessions and dreamings is essential. It gets some age peculiarities and actuality in the period of a person’s professional activeness, its emotional and psychological maturity. At this stage of a person’s development, hypertrophic anxiety concerning health appears, that is manifested in the form of fear and is accompanied by hypochondriacal maladies. The illness is often determined with such psychosomatics as cardiovascular and gastrointestinal violations, brain and urinary dysfunctions. Hypochondriacal malady is one of the least investigated psychopathological phenomena, the main peculiarity of which is excessive concentration on own psychosomatic feelings. The diagnostics of hypochondriacal malady is complicated by the latent course, hiding ideas and fears. Hypochondriacal behaviour is characterized by the uncertainty in the society, that is why it cannot be understood by the people surrounding for a long time.
