Summary/Abstract: The author analyzes the connection between Hermadio, slave and actor of a private person, P. Turanius Dius, with a superior clerk of salt administration in Roman Dacia, P. Aelius Marius. The key of the answer is a wax tablet of Alburnus maior, in which we can better see the role of actores in transactioning their mesters’ affairs.
