Summary/Abstract: In the current study, we are doing, first of all, an objective analysis of the Romanian rural environment in terms of the transmission of information, in the context of religious freedom. As examples, we sadly present two cases of violation of religious freedom in two rural localities, not far from Bucharest. The phases required to create an equidistant climate towards religious freedom in rural areas are another point of research, followed by presenting the liability factors needed to promote religious freedom in rural areas. In the last part of the study we list some programs aimed to promote the universal human right of religious freedom in Romania’s communes and villages. When we talk about country life in Romania, our first thoughts are directed to the novel of the same name signed by Duiliu Zamfirescu, namely the volume Viața la ţară, the first in the Romanul Comăneștenilor Series, and after that, we recall personal memories - for those who have relatives in a village. From the beginning, we want to emphasize that our study aims to highlight some shortcomings that put the inhabitants of the Romanian villages and communes in poor conditions, including by obstructing the religious freedom. By doing so, we do not intend to endanger the inhabitants of rural areas in any way, and we hope that our approach, together with other voices, will change the quite complex situation found in many localities.
