Summary/Abstract: The clay, which emerged in line with the needs of daily use and turned into one of the expression tools of the artists in time, is an indispensable position for ceramic artists. The ceramic material, which is in continuous industrial development, is also in an artistic movement. The term hybrid ceramic that we have recently encountered; Today, in terms of formal features, the past is very old, half-human, half-animal depicted ceramic forms and animal image is combined with human-specific attitudes. Within the scope of the research, half animal and half human ceramic forms were examined in the historical process and contemporary examples called "Hybrid" ceramics were investigated. Today, the use of hybrid ceramics, which has similarities compared to the past, has become one of the most frequently used forms of expression by artists. With these forms, it is observed that artists have an important place in figurative expression.
