Summary/Abstract: The participation of our country in the First World War was the subject of many fierce disputes not only centered around the common man, but also the politicians and diplomats. The most important problems that had to be discussed by the country's ruling class with the future allies were those regarding the conditions in which Romania had to enter the war, but also the place our country had to fill at the peace treaty table. In this article the emphasis is placed on the military campaigns which the Romanian Army fought during the two years of war but also the way that Romania's desires came to be.
