Good and Bad Sides of Globalisation, or, Problems of Polish Studies in Comparative Studies

Summary/Abstract: The author attempts at taking a look at literary globalisation in view of its potential usefulness in research in the area of Polish studies, literary and other, in a broader comparative context. Making references to various research approaches of the recent decades, Mrs. Grossman suggests a few potential solutions in order to situate Polish-studies research on the international humanities’ orbit. She does not consider literary globalisation a threat but rather, an opportunity worth taking advantage of.
