Summary/Abstract: Religious freedom and freedom of conscience are two of the most important elements of a modern democratic society. Although many nations declare that religious freedom and freedom of conscience are respected in their societies, in practice not all of them do that all the time and in all circumstances. In this article will be presented from an evangelical perspective some positive and negative attitudes displyed by societies and people in relationship with religious freedom and freedom of conscience.
