Summary/Abstract: This text is the short version of the archaeological research reports (2017 campaign) regarding the excavations carried out in the sites from Urlați and Șoimești, Prahova County. The reports were initially submitted for publication to the Romanian Archaeological Reports Database, however, for reasons beyond our knowledge they were not included in that volume. Given that we combined two reports regarding two different sites in one single article, they underwent minor adjustments in order to achieve a certain coherence in the text. The illustration of the original reports also suffered changes.
