Summary/Abstract: What we have today in Romania regarding Bucovina is internalization unconscious of a colonial category until the illusion of its autochthony, transformation past diversity in a nationalist historical fetish and the pseudo-folk tribalization of more complex, more fluid, more hybrid and more heterogeneous identities. This from The process is, without the understanding of artisans and patients, a denationalization process. In 2018 we should also be able to contemplate the true history of Bukovina, and its persistence as a lieu de mémoire. In fact, as a complex, dynamic and interactive system places of memory. Of the Romanians, of the Ruthenians / Ukrainians, of the Germans, of the Jews and so on. We need, in order to understand the past, to be able to live in the present and to we could imagine the future, of an inclusive and pacified social memory (in its sense Paul Ricoeur: appeased memory).
