Summary/Abstract: The article presents the landscape of public media in Poland in early 2019, after amendments to media laws and criticizes this model from the perspective of national legal regulations as a normanve norm of liberal media doctrine and from the point of view of international regulations. In the latter area, the strength and scope of international regula ons in the area of public media pluralism is examined. Considering the issues of media pluralism and pluralism in the media, the text contains three possible scenarios of future transforma ons of the sphere of public broadcasters in Poland: the static direction, the direction of normalization and the dynamic, progressive, discursive or agonistic direction. This last direction, like the previous two, recognizes external pluralism as a legal and factual standard. However, the article proposes to supplement it with additional elements: the diversity of entities and the restoration of the concept of “politicality” in the media discourse.
