All teachers in this study group were interviewed and three teachers in the study were observed in one course (40min). During the interview and observation, notes were taken by the researchers. The interview and observation form used in this study was prepared by the research team. While the interview form consists of five questions, in the observation form, there are five observation dimensions formed from the interview form. The data gained from the interview and observation were analyzed by content analysis. According to the results, it was observed that Turkish teachers frequently used interactive board and educational games, visual materials such as posters and banner, stories, novels, types of poetry and improvisation and debating techniques. However, it was concluded that the materials and the educational environment design used by the teachers were insufficient to create a very stimulating learning environment as a whole.
