Summary/Abstract: The study was carried out to determine the opinions of the children between 60-72 months of age. The study is a descriptive study based on qualitative analysis. The study group of the study consisted of 46 children attending independent kindergartens in the city center of Ankara in the educational year of 2017-2018 The data of the study were collected by analyzing the verbal expressions by the paintings that children draw on their opinions about what they want to do as a scientist. Descriptive analysis was done and the views of the children about what they wanted to do as scientists were evaluated. As a result of the research, 73 themes related to what they want to do as preschoolers and 7 common themes are taken into consideration. It has been determined that children 's intention to do as a scientist for various purposes is more concentrated on device contact and the concept of robot belonging to this theme is used more frequently than other concepts. In addition, it has been seen that children carry out what they want to do as a scientist according to various reasons, 82 statements related to these reasons and 5 themes are taken into consideration when considering the common characteristics of these statements. It was determined that the children made explanations about the reasons of the discovery rather than these themes.
