The Test of the Dramaturge – Experiences of the Changing Roles of the Dramaturge

Summary/Abstract: Contemporary theatre offers an increasing number of examples of dramaturgical activity different from that of the literary theatre. Anna Zsigó uses her own work experience as a basis for the discussion of this topic, presenting the changing role of the dramaturge in the context of theatrical improvisation, dance and theatre pedagogy. She emphasises that this context of the community theatre offers an increased space for the personality of the dramaturge and for tasks such as preparing or curating the repetition process.
