Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the results of the research devoted to the dependence between sexual initiation by female students before coming of age and the feeling of emotional support on the part of their parents. Analysed has been the interdependence between the feeling of support and the age of sexual initiation, the motives of starting sexual activity and the dominating emotions that accompany the initiation. It appears from the research that the feeling of emotional support on the part of the parents differentiates the separated areas, whereas the strongest relationship was reflected between the feeling of support and the motives of early sexual initiation.
