Summary/Abstract: The article describes the history of mathematical models of combat activities and combat means of destructions, and their development paths of the use of troops in the process of preparation of the operational activities. The possibilities of using mathematical models of operations (combat and fire destruction) in the process of the preparation and conduct of operational preparations were considered.
