Summary/Abstract: The monography entitled “Dobrogea at 140 Years after its Union with the Romanian State. An Example of Contemporary West-Pontic Multiethnic Understanding”, edited by the prominent biologist Dr. Alexandru Ș. Bologa, and published by Ex Ponto, Constanța, in 2018, is a tribute to Dobrudja – one of the most beautiful and beloved Romanian territories, situated between the Danube River and the Black Sea, and to its progress in many fields of human activity, during the last 140 years, since its union with the Romanian state. The volume highlights the fact that Dobrudja, a real home for many ethnicities, brings together people’s hearts, minds and talents into acommon effort for science and culture development.
