Summary/Abstract: Education reform in 2000 has introduced a system career advancement of teachers. Conceptually, a teacher with a higher degree of advancement should have a greater knowledge, competence, should continue to learn. These activities should translate into his or her work more effectively and thereby enhancing the quality of institution work. The article discusses results of studies concerning the opinion of the directors of kindergartens about promotion.
