Summary/Abstract: The article is focused on issues related to Dolphin Assisted Therapy. In the initial part we present the historic view and the situation of dolphin therapy in Ukraine. In the second part there is an overview of academic studies worldwide related to dolphin therapy and methodological aspect of dolphin therapy as a mean of support for children with developmental delays. In further parts of the article I present the assumptions of the proprietary method by O. Dąbrowska and the results of observations and pilot research regarding the influence of dolphin therapy on development in communication.
