Health risks issues among immigrants in relation to social work

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the submitted paper is, based on an analysis of health risks with which immigrants come to the Slovak Republic, to open the issue of potential threats to social workers working in detention camps, who are in direct contact with arriving immigrants. We describe results of the healthcare of immigrants who came to Slovakia on the basis of available resources that show especially the prevalence of infectious, venereal and skin diseases.
