Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with resilience in relation to prevention of behavioral disorders. In the center of the concept of resilience there is the fact that the development of resilience on the community, family and school level, as well as on the level of the individual, is the best way to prevent behavioral disorders. So, as to ensure that, it is crucial to recognize risk factors that can influence the appearance of behavioral disorders but likewise, to recognize protective factors that can prevent them from appearing, The paper also gives an overview of the resilience concept, as well as an overview of the concept of the risk and protective factors in relation to behavioral disorders and is offering an answer to the question in which way can the resilience concept be used for the purpose of prevention of behavioral disorders.
