Summary/Abstract: The perception of the local community and the prevention of behavioral disorders in the area of Velika Gorica were tested on the pattern of 255 key people. The key people in the local community are those who are in the position to make decisions important to the life of the local community itself, or those who through their actions can influence the making of said decisions. The purpose of this research was to find out in what capacity are key people in the local community willing to engage in the organization and participation of prevention of behavioral disorders in their local community and are there any differences between them with regard to gender. The methods used in data processing were: basic statistics, variance analysis and factor analysis.
