The main social and economic threats for elderly in Poland after 1990

Summary/Abstract: In the article the author introduced elderly (seniors) notion and the demographic profile of this group of the population in Poland. He executed the identification of the main groups of threats for elderly, such how: (1) wholesome and vital problems, (2) economical and income problems, (3) psychological and mental problems and (4)  social  problems.  The  author talked over the health  state of elderly in Poland and economicalconditions of this group after 1990. He also talked over social problems, which touching seniors on the breakthrough XX and XXI century. The author formulated several recommendation for the senior state‐politics.
