Summary/Abstract: The article deals with two works by Dmitry Kitsenko’s for organ solo, created at the early stage of his work: the Prelude and Fugue to the Memory of D. Shostakovich (1979) and the Suite for Organ (1980) which are analyzed from the point of view of form, musical language and performance.
