Summary/Abstract: The requests of the judicial bodies are usually aimed at identifying the person whose handwriting or signature we can observe on a document, though they sometimes are for other purposes such as establishing the accuracy of the date recorded on the document, or - if it is the case of an official document - verifying its authenticity. Usually, the physical condition of the documents may raise suspicions even from a first glance. This is the case for documents that are permanently sealed in transparent (laminated) foil without exposing any regions of the paper itself or any fragments of graphic route
