Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this research consists in determining the Agglomerations in Republic of Moldova according to the EU Council Directive 91/271/EEC of 21 May 1991 for cities with populations between 2000 and 10000 P.E. The main topics presented in this paper are: 1) identifying the population dynamics; 2) spatial distribution of the settlements 3) identifying economic agents in the area. To achieve these objectives were used methods established already in the EU Council Directive 91/271/EEC of 21 May 1991.
