Summary/Abstract: Studies in the social sciences has increased day by day and a part of this work has involved the process of history of religions. Especially, main focus of attention are holy books, which religious accept them as primary reference and process of history development of holy books. In this respect, the Dead Sea manuscripts is an important discovery that Judaism and Christianity illuminates the transitional period. This is also the formation process of the Old Testament text. We will discuss about the following topics: historical process of the discovery, arguments on the owners of writing, the similarities and differences with Tanakh text.
