Summary/Abstract: The Story of Zulqarnain which takes place in 83-98th verses of sûra al-Kahf in The Holy Qur’an is a story that a number of uncertainities emerge and some completely different narrations are conveyed in its understanding and interpreting. In this article we tried to resolve the ambiguities as well as criticised the approaches in classical and contemporary Qur’anic interpretation books. Eventually we tried to put forth an evidence-based idea about the most precise approach.
