A Sketch from the Life of Friedrich Wilhelm August Fröbel, Representative of Classical German Pedagogy

Summary/Abstract: The study presents an important personality of Friedrich Fröbel and his life path, from which the groundbreaking and due to the time in which he lived "innovative" ideas. At the beginning we are dealing with the phenomenon of his philosophy, pointing out that he who has been able to give himself to the smallest all his life and is considered to be one of the greatest educators and educators alongside J. A. Komensky and J. H. Pestalozzi. Although many know the name of the founder of preschool institutions, his broader pedagogical views, resp. The life/path through which he enrolled in the history of education and pedagogy is not as well known in our country as it would be supposed. This is the essence of attracting attention and bearing in mind that studying the history of pedagogy and education allows us to understand the problems of contemporary theory and practice correctly and is an integral part of the pedagogical culture of each teacher or educator.
