FISHING LEXICON OF THE ALEKSINAC AREA OF THE SOUTH MORAVA VALLEY

Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the fishing lexicon collected at Bovan Lake near Aleksinac. With reference to lexical-semantic analysis of lexemes, a glossary representing the basis of our research is given at the end of the paper. The research was conducted with various informants, and as a result approximately 200 different lexemes were collected. The dialect spoken in Aleksinac area attracts the attention of lexicologists due to the fact that it is specific within the Serbian language and deviates from the norm in various aspects.
