Foreign Language Teaching and Teaching Arabic in Turkey from Past to Present

Summary/Abstract: With the improvement of technology, language teaching has become increasingly important in the World as a global village. In recent years, visa requirements have been removed for many Arab countries. Commercial activities and tourism have been quickened with them. TRT have opened a full-time Arabic TV station. Therefore, it has grown demand for people with knowledge of Arabic in Turkey. In this article, foreign language teaching, foreign language teaching methods, and phases of the Arabic language teaching as a foreign language in Turkey from past to present will be discussed. At the end of this article, foreign language learning will be assessed.
