UNKNOWN BUKOVYNER IN UKRAINE IS THE WORLD'S WELL-KNOWN DEMOGRAPHERS SCIENTIST

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the study is to describe the way of life of the Bukovyner, well-known scientist from the Khotyn region, his unique destiny raised him highly as an accomplished scholar (in the second half of his life, mainly as a demographer), who left behind an extensive methodological and practical legacy on demography in different countries of the world. Objective is to give a comprehensive assessment of the forgotten in the native country, in Ukraine, the scientist from Bukovina Anatoliy Ivanovych Ro-maniuk. Material and methods. Used to describe the life and achievements of A. I. Romanyuk, his own works, as well as materials of the outstanding Ukrainian demographer, Professor V. I. Steshenko.
