Summary/Abstract: By using the corpus found in the Antropografski rečnik dictionary by Prof. Nedeljko Bogdanović, PhD, the author analyses names used to designate a female person in the speeches of the Prizren-Timok zone from the grammatical, semantic, stylistic, and word formation aspect respectively. The corpus is composed of the nouns by which a female person is named according to both physical and internal spiritual characteristics. These names are characterised by rich semantic shades, as well as by word formation models that deviate from the standard idiom.
