Summary/Abstract: This article presents a person’s progress from their home in search of their origin. Iliya Blaskov`s character from“Ill-Fated Krastinka“ chooses to recognize Rila Monastery as his home and this fact is indicative of recognising the monastery as a symbol of Bulgarian identity.
