The balance sheets of the estates and interests of Count Adam Branicki between 1929 and 1938

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present and analyze the balance sheet of the assets and interests of Count Adam Branicki between 1929 and 1938. A critical analysis of the source materials and literature, as well as selected tools of financial analysis, were used as the research method. The publication will present the history of the Wilanów estate until 1938, as well as all elements of the balance sheets of Count Adam Branicki's assets and interests during the period in question. The reader's attention will be brought to the form and characteristics of the summary of assets and liabilities of the Wilanów estate. The analysis of the balance sheets of the Wilanów demesne will allow us to point to their functions and to confirm two research hypotheses.
