Summary/Abstract: The Hungarian girdle with metal thread was acquired in 1936 from the Trascău ethnographic zone.The piece is made of red wool yarn interweaved in three and silver and bronze filament metallic wires elements interweaved in six, twisted, or in the form of strips, with a closing of tin with green glass cufflinks. The girdle restoration was carried out in collaboration: the textile wires has been dusted,reconstituted and replaced by textile restorer and metal wires and clamping system have been restored and preserved by the metals restorer. The piece was protected with netex and stored in the conditions recommended by specialists.
