Summary/Abstract: In 1903, a number of articles were published which criticized Archbishop ohn. One exception appeared, however, when Josef Svatopluk Machar criticized his opponents. Theodor ohn resigned in Rome in 1904 and then settled in Ehrenhausen (Steiermark). J.   S. Machar visited ohn in Ehrenhausen in 1909. This visit did not remain unnoticed and aroused the interest of the Archdiocese of Olomouc and of the Holy See in Rome. Machar promised to publish nothing about this visit and about ohn, “except from the perspective of history”. He released his reminiscences of ohn in 1927.
