Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to formulate and substantiate the key components of teaching improvised accompaniment in the process of teaching the piano class. The methodology of the research is based on the use of a pedagogical approach using methods of systemic and structural functional analysis and taking into account the integration of pedagogical traditions and innovations. Scientific novelty. The article highlights three important components of teaching improvisation accompaniment in the professional training of musicians in the piano class. Conclusions. The piano improvisation accompaniment is one of the most important courses in teaching music in universities and colleges, which is of particular importance and value for cultivating and forming the professional skills of students, revealing their abilities and talents. Therefore, piano teachers must constantly integrate all teaching resources in teaching, especially in developing practical skills, to seek and accumulate innovative teaching aids, to build a more advanced piano accompaniment model to help students maximize their improvisational abilities in accompaniment. At the same time, teachers should constantly improve their professional level of piano improvisation accompaniment, as well as constantly raise the requirements for improving the preparation of students for improvised accompaniment skills, so that in the future their professional activity could meet high standards and strict requirements in this area.
