ALGORITHM FOR PROMOTION OF UNIVERSITY EDITIONS INTO THESCIENTOMETRIC DATABASES

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to highlight the main principles and results of the implementation of the library information service on the promotion of scientific journals into the scientometric databases. Methodology involves the use of several general scientific methods: logical analysis, synthesis, statistical method and the method of results visualization. The scientific novelty of the work consists in the formation of a functional scheme of information services of the library on the promotion of scientific journals into the scientometric databases. Conclusions. Introduced information service that involves scientific and consulting activities aimed at integrating the academic editions into the international scientific information space. As a result, an algorithm for the promotion of scientific journals into the scientometrics databases was worked out. The high activity of the editorial boards of the university’s journals indicates the demand and effectiveness of the service.
