ROLE OF COMPUTER ETHICS IN THE FORMATION OF INFORMATION CULTURE OF THE COMPUTER-USER NETWORK ENVIRONMENT

Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the article is to substantiate the role of computer ethics in the context of information culture of user behavior of the network environment. Methodology consists in the application of general scientific and special methods of cognition, in particular, informational, systemic approaches, comparative, terminological research methods, as well as analytical monitoring of publications are used. Scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that the analysis of the importance of the main principles of computer ethics, according to D. Johnson, that the moral and ethical principles of the culture of behavior of all users of computer networks are necessary components of modern information culture. Conclusions. Moral and ethical principles of the information culture of any member of information network environment are extremely important and necessary for the comfortable coexistence of the “person-computer-Internet”, for the overall positive impact of the Internet network on the information society.
