HISTORICAL DOCUMENT SCIENCE: CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS

Summary/Abstract: Purpose of Article. The purpose of the research is to consider the current state and development of prospects of the Historical Document Science in Ukraine. Methodology. The application of the methodology of systemic, functional approaches to the document as a social and communication phenomenon has contributed to achieving the goal to determine the object-sphere, basic research directions, and tasks, factors of their formation, theoretical foundations of the discipline. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty lies in the actualization the problems of historical, theoretical and applied issues of Historical Document Science, depending on the interdisciplinary impact of the documentary-communication sciences cycle and particular historical disciplines.
