Summary/Abstract: Gastronomic elements play an important role in tourists' choice of destination. Tourism businesses have recently been diversifying their products to attract tourists who care about their naturalness and originality. An example of this product diversification effort is “tourism routes / routes. The importance of gastronomy tours and flavor routes for tourism is clearly seen in the literature. In this study, it is aimed to propose alternative gastronomy routes for Çanakkale region. In this study, interview technique was used. In the scope of gastronomy tourism, interviews were made with a total of 16 participants consisting of cooks, agency representatives and tour guides, three different occupational groups that are thought to be able to obtain qualified information. Content analysis and descriptive analysis were applied to the data obtained from the research. When the participants' comments were evaluated, it was seen that agency representatives generally stated that the gastronomic wealth was not sufficient, while the cooks and guides emphasized that the gastronomic wealth was present but there was a lack of promotion. As a result of the research, three different route examples, meat and dairy products, seafood and wine were extracted. It is thought that these routes will be further developed and will guide the planners.
